Subject: Course on “Direct Trainers Skills” from 26th to 30th September,2016 to be conducted at ISTM, New Delhi – Acceptance of nominations- regarding
Sir,
I am directed to inform you that the official(s) whose names figure in the “Accepted Nominees’ List related to the course under the “Confirmed Nominations” Section on the home page of our website (http://www.istm.gov.in) has/have been selected for participation in the above training programme.
2. The candidate(s) may be relieved to attend the course and be advised to report to the undersigned at 09.15 hours (sharp) on Monday the 26th Sep, 2016 at I.S.T.M , Old JNU Campus, Olof Palme Marg (Outer Ring Road), New Delhi-67.
3. ISTM provides hostel facilities on twin sharing basis. However, availability of rooms in ISTM Hostel cannot be guaranteed and it will be made available on first-come-first serve basis. It is not feasible to provide single occupancy accommodation. Family members of the participants are not allowed to stay in the hostel with the participants. In case, the participants are allotted accommodation in the ISTM Hostel, they are required to pay Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) per day per participants for boarding charges to the Caterer/ Caretaker in cash (No Demand Draft/ Cheque will be accepted). There will be separate charges for accommodation in the ISTM Hostel. Charges for both (Boarding & Lodging) are to be reimbursed by the Sponsoring Authority.
4. However, in the event of non-availability of accommodation in ISTM Hostel the participants will be required to make their own arrangement at their own cost, as per their entitlement in their parent organization.
5. The Institute is located in South Delhi in Old JNU Campus. It is about 15 kms from New Delhi Station, 18 kms form Old Delhi Station and 13 Kms from Airport. The campus is located along the Outer Ring Road (Olof Palme Marg) between IIT Hostel and Munirka, opposite Sec.III, R.K. Puram, which is a large Government residential colony. The outstation participants are advised to take “pre-paid” taxi/Auto rickshaw from the railway stations/ISBT/ Airport for the Old JNU Campus.
6. During the Course, the participants will be involved in group activities requiring continuous interaction with the group. There will also be group interactions late in the evenings. Therefore, it is advisable for the participants to be available in the hostel in the evenings and not to have any other engagements. The participants are, therefore, to ensure and plan their visit in such a manner as to keep themselves free from other commitments – official or otherwise – during the week. On Friday, the 30th September, 2016 the course activities are scheduled to be completed around 1645 hrs. The departures may, therefore, be planned accordingly.
