Subject-   Training Circular for workshop on  ‘Purchase Management in Government (Assistants or equivalent)  (2nd to 4th November 2015)
 
Sir/ Madam,
 
            The Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM) is scheduled to conduct a three days Workshop on Purchase Management in Government from 2nd to 4th November 2015. Details of the Workshop are in Annexure-I.
 
2.         Nominations in the prescribed Proforma may be submitted online at our official website  http://www.istm.gov.in under the link ‘Online Form’ well before the closing date, i.e., 3rd October 2015. Printed copy of the nomination form, duly approved by the sponsoring authority, may be sent so as to reach this office latest by 3rd October 2015. The nomination’s received in the old nomination proforma or not sponsored by the competent authority or received after the last date will not be accepted.
 
3.         All the Ministries/ Departments of Government of India are requested to nominate upto two officers of the Ministry/ Department to attend the Workshop.
 
 4.         The nominees must not be relieved to attend the course till their participation is confirmed by ISTM through its website.

The course is designed for subordinate staff   comprising Assistants and equivalent in Ministries / Departments and Attached / Subordinate offices of Government of India.

Aim

To equip participants with the requisite knowledge and skill in Purchase Management in Government.

  3. List out essentials of E-Procurement
  4. Describe DGS&D Rate Contract
  5. List out the essentials of contract management

Hostel facilities

The Workshop is a non-residential programme. However, hostel facilities are available for outstation participants on nominal payment basis on single/ twin sharing basis.
